Seeing is believing, September 2009

Anthony Russell explains 360, the latest development at Anthony’s Kenyan conservancy Shompole.
“360 Features a variation on the signature look of freeform white concrete, rough-hewn fig wood, smooth, round river stones and plunge pools under thatch. But the new private house – named for its 360 – degree views over the Great Rift Valley to Lake Natron – is more dramatically situated than the other buildings with a suspended dining area above a dumb-bell-shaped pool below which tow 5,000sq ft bedrooms hug the contours of the Nguruman Escarpment.”
