Artist Anthony Russel’s exhibition opens in Nairobi
Anthony Russel who was born and raised in Kenya and the UK, is an artist, designer, musician and most of all, a keen conservationist with a passion for Lions and the Maasai culture. On 8th of May he unveiled his latest exhibition at the Capital Club in Nairobi.
The artwork on show was meant to honour the African continent and capture the audience and open their eyes to the beauty of Africa. Alongside the opening was a silent auction where 100 per cent of the silent auction pieces plus ten per cent of any sale made was to benefit the Amu and Shampede lion’s ranch. The event was attended by fellow artist Lisa Christofferson as well as The Africa Report regional manager Fadoua Yagobi and Capital Club general manager Andrew Christian.
